FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

May 6, 2020

NEWPORT, RI

MUSICIAN AND RECORDING ARTIST, JENN VIX, RELEASES NEW SINGLE, TO RAISE MONEY FOR THE RHODE ISLAND COMMUNITY FOOD BANK.

Musician, recording artist, and recording engineer, Jenn Vix, was born in Providence. Though she's resided in other states over the years, she moved back to Rhode Island, and now resides in, and operates a recording studio in Newport. Vix has collaborated with band members of the late David Bowie, The Cure, and more. She has multiple albums, EPs, and singles on all streaming platforms, and music videos on YouTube.

Her new, piano based, spiritual pop track, "Angel of Hope," is inspired by the bravery and spirit of the late Ida Lewis; legendary hero of the ocean, who resided in Newport, RI. Vix wrote and recorded this track as a beacon of hope, during this difficult time.

The song will be available for free listening, and purchase for $1.00. All money raised from the sales of the track will go directly to the Rhode Island Community Food Bank. There will be weekly posts on jennvix, band, with screen shots, as transparency is important to her, and she wants you to see that your donations are going to help those in need; she makes no profit from the sale of this song.

The official release date is Friday, May 8 2020, at: jennvixexclusives.bandcamp.com
